In Which We are Back in Nashville

After a quick hop, skip, and jump (plus a 100million year drive) we are back from whence we came. It was an adventure going all that way, but we are more than happy to be back in a familiar corner of the world.

I spent all of yesterday in bed. I ate an entire box of mac n' cheese. (The good kind. Target was having a  dollar special on Annie's.) I chatted with my mom and grandma and Carlos via Skype. That was awesome. I looked for jobs and I looked for houses. I think I've found both. Since starting this post, I have gotten an email saying that one of the places I liked on Craigslist is available starting the 1st of September! I have a job interview today and another on Friday. I really like the sounds of that one. It's at a cupcake shop. The owner happened to be in as I was filling out the application. She seemed interested in my background in decorating (fake) cakes since she is looking for someone to help her with the front window. Wouldn't it be crazy to get paid to do artwork? It's what I went to school for and everything. Who ever heard of such a thing??

Things are just happening so fast right now. I'm freaking out. In a good way. But freaking out. We'll see how it all turns out. I trust that the little Tetris pieces will fall into the proper holes with a little help from me. It's all in the flick of the wrist and good, quick decision-making.
