Relaxing day so far. Mentally preparing to be on stage tonight. We're heading to the venue soon.
Sammy has posted this video on youtube. And we're blowing up facebook too to try to drum up some buzz. We don't expect a full house or anything- it is a Wednesday after all- but it might be a good turnout.
Seeing a lot about Chick-Fil-A today. Apparently it's Chick-Fil-A appreciation day or something. I think this is stupid. People are lined up around the block all over the country to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner in support of a company that gives money to hate groups while claiming Christian values. That is troublesome. People are entitled to their free speech, but if they really think that Chick-Fil-A needs their money, they are sadly mistaken. It doesn't. And if I think that choosing not to eat there makes a difference, I am mistaken as well. I am choosing not to eat there today for sure. I don't want to be mistaken for a staunch supporter, nor do I have the time to wait 2 hours for a mediocre chicken sandwich. Screw that.
Also, I am eating a lot less meat these days in general. Beef hardly enters my body at all anymore. It's not a moral objection or a love of animals that has sparked this change. I think people should eat meat (if they wish) and I do not particularly like animals. They fall into the same category as children- I will spend time with them if need be, but I do not choose it on purpose. Eating less meat is more an environmental choice. I have not done much research on this matter, but it's something I am looking into. As someone who (god willing) has to spend the next 50+ years on this planet, I think we should really be concerned about the Earth.
The lack of recycling bins here in Nashville is upsetting to me. Definitely a let-down from being in Asheville where everyone composts and recycles and reminds you that "These [paper towels] come from trees".
Ok! Enough! Onward! Sammy Cortino and his assistant Sarah Ray and Omega Swan are going to rock super hard at the Rutledge tonight at 7. Thank you for your break-a-leg wishes. I love you all.

Thinking of you tonite! I know you all did a great job. Would love to have been there---GMA
